Intelligentsia Classes

There's been a lot of buzz about Stumptown Coffee lately.  This is the coffee that I buy and drink at home when I don't have coffee sent to me from Coffee Emporium in Ohio.  It's really delicious but when we ran out this week during a rainstorm, I needed to go to the closest coffee shop to me to pick up more beans.  I was pleasantly surprised with Beaner Bar's options of Intelligentsia Coffee. These guys hail from Chicago but have direct trade relationships with coffee farms in Kenya, Indonesia, Brazil, Colombia and Rwanda to name a few. You can read the individual stories of each farm on their website.  And the coffee really is top-notch.

But if drinking the coffee isn't enough for you, they recently opened a New York outpost and are offering a variety of coffee classes.
