I've been hearing about
Cafe Du Monde since I was 12 years old. It always had that aura around it - of something special and untouchable. Somehow, it seemed more likely that I'd go to
Madagascar than
Cafe Du Monde. Well I finally made it!

The beignets and café au lait are perfection. It was the first meal I had in Louisiana as well as the last - we did a drive-by at 5am before heading to the airport. Since the place is opened 24 hours, it wasn't a problem.
