Rye, the newest Classic American restaurant to open in Williamsburg by the guys behind Dressler and Dumont, was serving friends and family last week. We got a look at the warm n' cozy digs. The place is spacious and staff friendly. Food still needs the kinks worked out of it, but I am hoping that the mushroom lasagna, served free-form, stays on the final menu. Sea bass and creme caramel need tweaking to be standouts but they are perfect B/B+s at the moment.
